| Bio: |  My name is Rhi (pronounced 'Ree'), and I'm a 17 year old girl from the North of England. I'm short, hyper-active-yet-lazy, obsessive, and more than a little bit of a geek. I'm currently studying for my A-levels at a not at all snobby girls school in Wakefield, and although I'd like to think I have a life outside of my schoolwork, I'm an insane perfectionist and determined to get As in everything. Right now I'm studying Classics, English Literature, History and Maths, with a hope of studying English Lit and/or Classics at university. I really want to go to a university in America, with my heart set on Stanford, and my eyes wandering over to Harvard and Dartmouth (yes, I do like to aim insanely high! :P) *hopes*. No plans after that, although I think working on a TV show as a writer would be the best job ever. I love writing, although I don't do it as often as I'd like. Sometimes I have super productive periods, and sometimes I have lulls that last several months, but what can you do? When I'm not trying to convince my fics to write themselves, I enjoy reading (and not just fanfic!), horse riding and wasting time chatting online and listening to my iPod. Random facts? I think giraffes are the grooviest animals in the world and squee over them all the time. I'm addicted to jaffa cakes and thai bites. One day I will learn to appreciate fashion, but right now I'm happy with my jeans and a fandomy t-shirt. And, I warn you, I know how to act like a five year old on a sugar high.  I am completely addicted to buying boxsets of TV shows and then marathoning the entire thing. Nothing makes me happier than discovering a new fandom, and so I do so pretty regularly. My newest discovery is Gilmore Girls, but I also love Alias, Buffy and Angel, Arrested Development, BSG, Doctor Who, Firefly, LOST, The Office, Scrubs and Veronica Mars. Veronica Mars and Firefly are my two absolute favourite shows, and I squee about them a lot. Alas, there has not been much new to squee about in the Firefly verse recently, but I still have hope. Bring on Serenity 2! And as well as the TV fandoms, I also looove Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars. And that's the books, both, and the movies, for anyone wondering. I'm also an insane shipper. I'm pretty easy going regarding other people's ships, but I love mine obsessively. I have a lot to squee over, but my absolute favourites are Logan/Veronica, Mal/Inara, Doctor/Rose and Charlie/Claire (usually refered to as PBL, or Peanut Butter Love). And yes, that is the seriously narrowed down version. It pains me to have cut some of the others off. :P I attend conventions fairly regularly (and mope over the ones I can't afford to go to even more regularly), and these events have allowed me to realise that Nathan Fillion is my husband. And that I'm having an affair with Sean Maher. David Tennant and his glasses are painfully yummy looking, though, so I may just have to change that list if I ever get to meet him. (Please, oh please!) In short, I love to ship, I love to squee, and I love to pretend that the pretty people will one day be my lovahs.  This lj is Friends Only, but I have a pretty open friending policy. I don't add psycho axe murderers, people who abuse grammar, or those who know me in real life, but otherwise, comment and I'm pretty certain to add you. All you have to do is ask.
